Blogging is not merely only for a blogger that working full-time blogging. Who writing stuff related topic in their niche to help people find the information they wanted.

If you are an entrepreneur, selling stuff online/offline, a business owner, musician, book author, art worker, etc. You should consider to have a blog and start blogging too.

Why blogging?

Because it’s proven good for your business and career. Doesn’t matter what is your business or career.

No matter if you selling stuff online, a musician, craftsman or whatever your great job is. You should consider blogging.

If you don’t have a website/blog yet, then you should plan to create one.

If you have time, please try your self to visiting some of the famous “Big brand” website. Then you will notice that they will always have a “blog” pages hang on their website menu.

Blogging is the traditional, and powerful way to engage people. And the most effective way to connect with your audience (customer, fan, etc).

Rather than doing direct selling/offer, it‘s better to write a good content related to your business/career and share it to your social network and attract them to read and visit your website/blog.

From there they will know what is your business. And if your product is worth it, they will surely turn from your reader into a loyal customer.

Every people who want to take advantages from the internet and its digital market should use a blog as one of their strategy to grow business and career.

Use social media for business is good. But without having a website/blog, is like a sailboat without a sail.

It might be float for a while. But without a sail, it can’t go anywhere, can’t fulfill its function. Floating is insufficient. This analogy I’ve got from Seth Godin blog. And this analogy is perfect to describe it.

Using social media application auto “post-follow-unfollow-DM-whatever” it’s maybe okay if you know how to handle it right.

If you don’t handle it right, then you only become a spammy friend on social network (just saying). If you consider to handle it right, yeah! it’s a great and powerful tool.

Only by direct selling and a direct offer is often not effective if it wasn’t targeted to the right people.

For example, if you are selling stuff online and offering your stuff to your friends on Facebook by posting your product.

Most people will ignore it if the product is not for them. And the worst scenario is, people are starting to unfollow you because you posting too often and people’s get annoyed.

To busy to have time writing on blog?

Are you too busy to blogging? and you feel don’t have time to write on the blog?

In my opinion, this isn’t a good way but wasn’t a bad way either. In fact is, you can buy for content related to your business. There is a lot of talented copy-writer who looking for a job as a freelancer.

You just need to find them at Fiver and give them what the content topic is, blah blah blah pay a few dollars and they will do the job for you.

But! I recommend is to do it by your self. Come on! once or three posts in a week. You must have time to do it yourself. Unless if you are working for 24 hour a day.

Not only me who only just a trend watcher, all digital marketing expert out there, will definitely recommend to you too. To use blog as a tool to boost your business and career.

Advantage of having a blog for business & career

Okay! this is the advantages of having a blog for your business & career. Maybe not all covered here, but I try to write a list for the essential.

By creating a good quality SEO content related to your product/services niche. It will definitely drive more more organics traffic. Beside traffic from the paid advertisement, other referral, and Social network channels.

It will buil absolute trust between you and your audience, or fan.

The audience who become a loyal reader will easily become a customer if they like your product.

Even without offering your product like crazy. It’s a win-win situation, people will buy your stuff when they get what they wanted, a piece of valuable information they wanted. … The trust.

For a non-mainstream creative people like musicians, book author, designer, painter, and all creatives worker. Trough blogging your fan will get more chance to get closer to you and know you as your real personalities.

And guess what, peoples will buy your works, even without you offering to them like a mad salesman.

Whatever the purpose is, blogging is fun. Writing your thoughts, sharing experience, sharing knowledge, etc.

And your network surely will get wider. People will know you as an authentic version of you.
