Lately I saw on my Twitter and Instagram timeline some of people I follow posting about asking to follow on a ‘new’ social media called Vero. I also heard the Vero could beating Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Hmm ..really?
At first sight I thought ‘oh new social media, ..cool’ but I didn’t interesting to find out more or clicking the link I saw around the social media.
But, when I wake up this morning I don’t know why the first thing that splash in my mind was Vero and I just grab my phone browsing on Google to find out more about this social media platform. And I found interesting fact that the founder is Ayman Hariri a Lebanese billionaire according to article I’ve read on money.cnn.com
Then I just I go to the Vero official website my self and find out what’s goin on there
And wow, this app has already surpassed one million registered users and have experiencing trouble with over load due to the large wave of new users joining over the past several days.
They seems still work hard to fix the issue and seems working to resume their normal service as soon as possible. (As written on their official website)
I think Wow a ‘supernova’ or something was happen here on Vero .. interesting!
And they promised that a first million users have access to Vero free for life. So I just download the Vero app and think to join the blast and of course “free access”, so I just I sign up and try to posting my first post and dig more about the app feature etc.
This is the interesting thing … In Vero you can posting not only a photo but also a link from any URL you like that you cannot do in Instagram. I found that their slogan is true which is “True social” media.
It’s really a great deal and good way for a painter and blogger like me to share my content to my network and friends. If you are an artist, musician, business man/woman a blogger like me or whatever you are, it’s definitely a new hope when all social media seems get ‘messy’ lately Just sayin’ for musician or public figure is an ultimate platform to strengthen your community of fans.
And if you get annoyed with algorithm, ads or bots and spam in other social media platform you will not find this issue on Vero. We hope! because honestly I am getting a little bit sick of what happen on social media nowadays. I feel like I am a robot … I have no problem with the ads but bot that follow you and unfollow you and also spam is really annoying. Just sayin’
So I hope this is the new way of networking without feels like a robot and just like the way in real life just like their ‘slogan’. Ya! I hope
Below is the preview of what I found interesting on Vero, I just setup my account and still learning how to use the app but overall it seem the most easiest app to use for social media I’ve found. The app still a ‘Beta’ version but yeah! it’s still new anyway
A smart Search
Post from a link, music, movie and TV clips, book, locations and pictures
As I’ve mention above that in Vero you can post directly from your website URL that you can’t do on Instagram.
And ya you can also post music you like, movie and TV clips, book suggestions, locations, and of course posting your pictures.
Collections
Everything shared with you gets categorized into your collections and integrated into Search
Lovely user interface and more intimacy timeline on home feed
I really love this, intimacy and not feel like we are watching someone life that maybe different in real life story
The app interface is look beautiful.. a ‘cozy’ fells you can say
Other
Other feature is just like standard social media, chat etc.
By the way I am still lucky to get a first one million user free access before they confirm pricing of Vero subscriptions.
So what you waiting for hurry up! go to Vero and download the app and sign up while they may still extend for ‘free access’ because sooner perhaps they will start to confirm for pricing of Vero subscriptions.
