Start Blog On A Budget

Start Blog On A Budget

Want to start a blog on a budget? well, this is how you can build a professional blog without spending tons of your money. Whether you want to build a brand new blog or just start the first one.

Starting a blog is the best investment you can have. It opens up a lot of opportunities in the online world. You can make money from it if you are consistent, for sure.

Ok, let’s straight to the point! this is the trick on how to start a blog on a budget. A professional blog!

1. Get the hosting

Nah, don’t get confused with the noise you’ve heard about buying the hosting. Choose the hosting that has great credibility and performance but still have an affordable price option in one place.

HostGator is the best hosting provider choice for this case. Since the company known great for their hosting technology in the industry.

First, go to HostGator hosting plan page and purchase the Hatchling Plan through this special link: https://partners.hostgator.com/hermansyah (my affiliate link).

It only costs $2.70 per month and you’ll get a 60% off discount. You also will get free SSL for your blog. See the screenshot below.

Click on the Buy Now button to go to the next step.

2. Choose a domain name for your blog

On the next page, you’ll be asked to pick a domain name for your blog. If you already have a chosen domain name before, or already purchase a domain, then great.

If you don’t have yet, make sure to pick a catchy name for your domain name for your new blog. It’s important guys, make sure the domain name is the same as your website/blog. And make sure to choose dotCOM.

Choosing domain

* Confirm your chosen hosting plan [Important! do this corectly]

Once you are done with choosing the domain, on the next page you’ll need to confirm your chosen hosting plan. Important, make sure you choose the Hatchling Plan. And choose 12-month cycle billing in the dropdown option.

If you want to get more discount you can choose a 36-month billing cycle. It’s all up to you. My recommendation is to choose 12 months if your budget is limited. Please see the screenshot below.

Hosting Plan

Also don’t forget to fill other forms for your credential information, like your name, etc.

* Choose the billing method and complete the payment

HostGator lets you choose how you want to pay. You can choose to pay using a Credit Card or using PayPal. If you are not a credit card user like me, you can choose to use PayPal for the payment. Simple …

Once the payment is complete, HostGator will start to build your personal account.

3. Installing WordPress on web hosting

When your account is ready, now its time to install WordPress on your new HostGator hosting.

Why WordPress?

Simply because WordPress is easy to use and manage Content Management System. And really good for search engine optimization (SEO)

Installing WordPress on HostGator host is easy as snapping your finger. To install WordPress, inside your HostGator Account, in the left menu click on Hosting > Manage. See the screenshot below!

Next step, select WordPress! for more detail guide on how to install WordPress on here: https://digimanx.com/how-to-start-blog-with-wordpress/

And that’s it! simple and clean 🙂

Note

Whether you want to create an Adsense blog, Affiliate niche blog or whatever the purpose. I hope this post can help you guys to start a blog on a budget.

Like I said before, don’t get confused with choosing the web hosting. HostGator is the best choice to start a blog in a low budget. And you’ll still have a fast and professional-looking blog 🙂
