Especially when you are redesign or change your site just like I’ve did. After change my WordPress theme I found that my site is doesn’t perform as well as before I change my theme.
And by checking my site with Google Test My Site tool I’ve found that my site speed score is very very poor. The score is about 53-56. Even i got excellent score 99 for mobile friendly site, is not good for audience experience.
Thats awful for site speed, and yeah suddenly my ranking in SERP is also going down down and down. Thats not good for a new blog like this blog to growth in early years.
So there must be something wrong on how I wrote html code on WordPress widgets.
Anyway, whats awesome from Google site test speed tool is, you’ll get suggested whats problem should need to be fix for. And what consider to fix when your site have a bad performance.
Something like; Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content, Optimize images, Prioritize visible content, to Leverage browser caching etc.
Below you can see screen shot for my blog Home page speed score before I fix the issue.
Yep! I’ve got some homework to work for ?
And below is the screen shot after I did some fix after I get suggestion whats need to fix to make my site speed score back. Its a little get better I guess, just need to fix for mobile site speed.
So what you are waiting for! test your site now with Google Test My Site. If you got good score for your site then congrats! There is nothing to do with it. But if your site score is pretty bad then at least you know what is need to be fix.
