When Windows 10 final release on July 29 2015 I was really exited to try it on my PC. And when I get the Windows 10 ISO and made the bootable DVD and install it on my machine everything seems to be just fine! And yeah I really like this OS, I do agree this is the best windows version ever.
Until I was start to installing some of drivers and softwares and reboot my PC a few times and I just realize that there is something wrong, the DVD Icon not showing in Windows 10, vanish from File explore.
I have tried anything to fix it but still, the DVD icon
So I do some research and a lot of peoples having the same issue especially they who have you can say a bit old machine, you know.
And after try this try that finally I can make the dvd icon show up again.

Alright, this is how to fix DVD icon not showing in Windows 10, this also works on Windows 8, 81.
Open Command Prompt pops, by right click on Windows icon in
When Command prompt window pops up, copy and paste command line below to Command Prompt and then click Enter to execute.
reg.exe add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi\Controller0" /f /v EnumDevice1 /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000001
When Command prompt successfully complete the operation Restart PC. After reboot the DVD drive icon on your PC now should show up in Windows File Explorer.
