Fix Photo And Recorded Video Error On Android

Recently I have a problem when record a video or take a picture from my LG K10 16 GB phone after I bloated the SD card with a bunch of recorded video files, my bad.

As you know that if you bloated your SD card it will come with the sd card locked or corrupted. Rather than wasting time trying to fix the corrupted memory that honestly it does not work if you overload your Sd card so I change the external SD card with the new ones.

Guess what, it still can’t solve the camera issue. That’s why here Digimanx want to share tip how to fix photo and recorded video error on Android based on admin experience.

Here is the issue that we want to cover here;

When you take a snap or record video, often the result is you get the warning “can’t play this video” or image thumbnails won’t show on the gallery.

And when you try to open the images you also get warning that “can’t read the file” or “file not supported”

Something like that.

By clearing app data, clearing cache does not solve the issue. And using some apps to read unsupported image/video files and other methods also won’t work.

So! if you have the same issue on your Android device like me then this post might also help you to solve the problem even if your device was not LG K10 LTE K430. However the idea is almost the same, you know!

But please take note! that here I did the hard reset on my device to get the camera works normall again.

So if you found there is no other way than to do the hard reset as I did first, make sure you back up all important data such as your contact, photo/video, Apps, etc before you do hard reset.

However, this is the most efficient way to get your camera work normal again. And not wasting your time converting unsupported files using app that in my case even won’t work at all!

Once again for a remainder please backup your data before continue to reset your Android phone! So later you can restore it back without installing all your favorite apps from scratch or lost your important contact etc. Use Google sync to backup your data.

Here I use my LG K10 android phone for example

Okay! after you’ve done backup all your data, to enter download mode first power off your phone by pressing and hold the power button then select to power off your phone.

Wait until the phone completely shut down then turn on again. But this time use combination key to enter download mode. In my case for entering download mode on my LG K10 simply by simply hold the Power and Volume down button at the same time.

Wait until the LG logos show up and release the buttons and quickly hold the combination button again one more time and release it.

Once you enter in download mode, use Volume Up and Down to select Yes! if you are sure to reset your phone to factory settings. Then push the power button to execute!

Let your device reinstalling all the system, the process should won’t take long.

And when done now you can restore all your favorite app, contact, WhatsApp, etc again using the “Account sync.”

Try to take a picture and record video to test if your camera works normally again. In my case the camera back to 100% to normal.

If you think about to buy a new Android phone. LG K10 is still affordable and have a nice casual design to use it for every day casual task.

The smoky atmosphere in this video is because I smoke a cigarette during the painting process. After the camera problem fixed now I can create another video. This channel only has one video because my fault bloating the external SD card with the recorded videos material just for making this four minutes painting time lapse. Oh my … can you imagine that?
