Using Disk Utility to delete leftover failed macOS installation files.
The easiest way to delete leftover macOS installation files is by using Disk Utility. Go and open the Disk Utility app. In the Disk Utility Sidebar right click on the Disk where macOS System are installed and choose Show In Finder. See screenshot below
After you click on Show in Finder, that will reveal Files and Folder inside the main system disk. You’ll see there’s two folders named Previouse Content and System. Nah! simply delete them. See screenshot
