Adblock Advisor for WordPress

That’s because most the internet users nowadays are having Ad Block software installed on their browser and devices. They use Ad Block is because of security reason and of course nobody like intrusive ad right?.

What if your website doesn’t have an or intrusive ad? such as Google Adsense, Infolinks or other Ad Networks that obviously not intrusive at all. So! in this post, we want to share with you fellow bloggers and site owners who also work as Adsense publishers.

You can politely tell your visitors who use Adblock to adding your site to their Ad Block Withe list, by using WordPress plugin. There are some of the plugins that you can simply install it on your WordPress site. I will recommend only three plugins that I’ve been using and test my self on all of my websites. And so far it works to make my audience “understand.”

How to Politely Tell Visitor to Add Your Site to Their Ad Block White List

Here’s how to politely tell your site visitor by using these awesome plugins for WordPress. These plugins were proven ed great!

These three plugins that you can use to block Ad Blocker.

Note! you don’t have to install all of them. Just pick one that suits your style. To install the plugin you can simply find them on your WP Admin left menus and then go to Plugins > Add New.

But before doing that, please read my short reviews and how to use it first. So you can decide which one best for you.

These plugins have the same purposes and both plugins you can modify the message.

But how they work have different in their actions. Here are the differences and how to modify the message that s your style;

Ad Blocking Advisor

This plugin is a great choice if you want to “casually” notify your visitor with a “red” banner on top of your page when there was an active Ad-block software detected by this plugin.

The banner will tell to your visitors who using AdBlocker that “Ads are one of the s you can keep provide them with good content blah blah blah.”

By default Ad Blocking Advisor already have a great “consent” message. But if you want to customize the message you always can go to the plugin setting page.

On the plugin settings page, you can also choose to put a Close (X) button on it or not. However, the banner will automatically close, after a few seconds.

Detect AdBlock

Different the ad Blocking Advisor, Detect Adblock plugin will boldly cover your entire site with the custom page. Tell that Ad block detected!

Yeah! it may look harsh but this plugin is your best choice when you have the other casual Ad-block advisor plugins and your visitor seems don’t get “understand.”

However, you can modify the plugin message with more friendly. Here’s how to do it and I will give you the example that I found it work for me 🙂

On your WP Admin panel menu, go to Settings and hover your mouse pointer on it. Then select Detect Adblock.

By default Detect Adblock will say; “Please disable AdBlock in the browser and %_click here_% to visit my website.”

Below is the example of the (my message) to make your site visitor add your site to their Adblocker White List;

Title:

Hey there! seems like you are using Adblock.

Body:

Ads are how we can keep providing you with premium content. So! if you find our content is useful Please disable AdBlock or simply by adding us to your Adblock Whitelist in the browser and then %_click here_% to return to my website. Don’t worry! we have no intrusive ads. Thanks for your support and understanding 🙂

So you can modify the entire text and just leave the (%_click here_%) between your message.

Important! Make sure the (%_click here_%) text remains there. Because this is the link to the page that your visitor ed to read for.

Use Ad Inserter plugin

The most efficient ways are by using Ad inserter plugin. As it is a great tool for placing Adsense ad on your blog too.
